Sometimes the church is regarded as in a “small corner”, and also the community of Beechwood sometimes suffers from isolation from the rest of the Wirral. So here are a few active links for your information and interest - the church is very much alive and universal in its outlook!

Beechwood is a participating church in Merseyside Christian Youth Camps (www.mcyc.co.uk ) where we have sent young people and leaders over many years.

We work closely with Christ Church, Liverpool ( http://www.christchurchliverpool.org), who for the last few years have provided a team of volunteers to help run Kidz Klub, and with whom we now share a full-time ministry trainee who will be working with us until Summer 2012 and helping develop the partnership between the two churches.

We support various overseas missions, and a former resident of the estate now serves in India with the help of Echoes (www.echoes.org.uk ). Short termers have worked on board the MV Doulos - the world’s oldest ocean-going passenger liner (www.uk.om.org , www.mvdoulos.org ), with Youth for Christ (www.yfc.co.uk ), WEC International (www.wec-int.org.uk ) and Latin Link (www.latinlink.org ).

Locally we support Merseyfest (www.merseyfest.com ), are participators in the Jesus Video Project (www.jesusvideo.co.uk ) and have links with Bridge Builders (www.bridge-builders.net).
